Delivery and collection on Tafrico Marketplace

Tafrico is a Zimbabwean multivendor marketplace. Delivery, collection, and fulfilment are arranged by each seller unless Tafrico or the seller clearly confirms a different arrangement for a specific order.

Shipping Coverage

  • Tafrico Marketplace currently focuses on orders within Zimbabwe.
  • Marketplace prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Customers should confirm delivery or collection details with the seller before completing an order where delivery information is not already shown.
  • Some products may be available for seller-arranged delivery, customer collection, courier delivery, or local handover depending on the seller and buyer location.

Delivery Cost and Time

  • Delivery cost is seller arranged and may vary by seller, product size, buyer location, courier, and delivery method.
  • Where a seller offers free delivery or a fixed delivery fee, that information should be shown on the product, order, or seller communication.
  • Where delivery cost is not shown, the seller should confirm the cost with the buyer before fulfilment.
  • Estimated delivery time within Zimbabwe is normally 1 to 7 business days after order confirmation, payment confirmation where applicable, and seller fulfilment confirmation.
  • Custom, bulky, wholesale, special-order, rural, or courier-dependent orders may take longer if the seller and buyer agree to that timing.

Seller and Buyer Responsibilities

  • Sellers are responsible for keeping product availability, fulfilment timing, delivery options, and contact details accurate.
  • Buyers are responsible for providing correct names, phone numbers, delivery addresses, collection details, and location information.
  • For eligible platform-paid orders, buyers should follow Tafrico Trade Assurance guidance and confirm receipt only after receiving and checking the order.
  • If delivery information is unclear, buyers can contact the seller through Tafrico or contact Tafrico support for assistance.

Delivery Problems

  • If an order is delayed, missing, incomplete, damaged, or delivered to the wrong location, the buyer should contact the seller and Tafrico support as soon as possible.
  • Tafrico may request order numbers, payment confirmation, delivery evidence, photos, screenshots, and seller or buyer communication when reviewing a delivery issue.
  • Tafrico support can help coordinate communication, but the seller remains responsible for fulfilment unless Tafrico has expressly taken over delivery for that order.
