Tafrico Solutions (Pvt) Ltd – POS Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of Tafrico Solutions (Pvt) Ltd’s Point of Sale (“POS”) system by sellers registered on Tafrico.com. By registering and using the POS system, you (“Seller”) agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Registration

1.1 Only approved Tafrico sellers with an active subscription are eligible to use the POS system.

1.2 Sellers must maintain accurate and updated business details, including tax compliance information.

2. Fees and Subscriptions

2.1 Tafrico charges a 2% commission on all successful sales or on all product listings.

2.2 A registration fee of USD $120 per year applies to all sellers using Tafrico services, including the POS system. This serves only for services providers. Sellers that are into bothe product listing and service providing will have to pay the annual subscription and so as be charged 2% per every successful sale done through our platform.

2.3 Tafrico reserves the right to review and adjust fees with prior notice.

3. POS Usage

3.1 The POS system may only be used to record and manage transactions directly related to Tafrico-listed products and services.

3.2 Sellers are responsible for ensuring that POS entries accurately reflect sales made through their business.

3.3 Tafrico does not directly collect payments from buyers through the POS system. All financial transactions are handled between seller and buyer.

4. Transactions

4.1 Sellers are solely responsible for processing payments received via cash, mobile money, or other offline methods.

4.2 Tafrico does not hold, mediate, or guarantee payments between sellers and buyers.

4.3 Any transaction conducted outside Tafrico’s platform or POS is not the responsibility of Tafrico.

5. Disputes and Complaints

5.1 Buyers must report any disputes regarding a POS transaction within 7 days of receiving the product or service.

5.2 Sellers are expected to address complaints in good faith to maintain marketplace integrity.

5.3 Tafrico may step in as a neutral mediator but is not obligated to enforce refunds or returns unless legally required.

6. Data and Record Keeping

6.1 Sellers are required to keep accurate sales records through the POS system.

6.2 Tafrico may review POS data for compliance and marketplace monitoring.

6.3 Tafrico reserves the right to suspend POS access if fraudulent or misleading transactions are detected.

7. Liability

7.1 Tafrico is not liable for losses, damages, or disputes arising from sales conducted via the POS system.

7.2 The responsibility of fulfilling orders, warranties, and after-sales support rests solely with the seller.

8. Termination

8.1 Tafrico may suspend or terminate POS access for:

  • Non-payment of subscription fees.
  • Fraudulent or unlawful use of the POS.
  • Violation of Tafrico’s marketplace policies.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Zimbabwean courts.
